Enhancing Family Engagement Module 3: Supporting Student Success

The purpose of this module is to inform the educational community regarding the importance of establishing an educational culture that embraces active family engagement and how to link family engagement activities to learning. 

About This Course

The objectives for this module are as follows:
•Discuss the research regarding how the school-to-home relationship contributes to students’ academic success
•Examine the key elements of engaging family members
•Explore strategies to increase family members’ participation in a collaborative effort to increase student achievement
•Develop a vision statement and identify action steps that intentionally engage families to support student success
